The NSW Government launches new volunteering portal

Posted on 07 Nov, 2017

The Centre for Volunteering wishes to advise all our member organisations that today Hon. Ray Williams, Minister for Multiculturalism and Minister for Disability Services announced the launch of the NSW Government new portal www.makeadifference.volunteering.nsw.gov.au.

This new website has been developed in conjunction with Seek, to provide another vehicle to enable volunteers to search available volunteer opportunities in NSW online and make it easier for those wishing to volunteer to find organisations and roles in the community.

All your volunteer opportunities, previously posted on Seek, will now also appear on the NSW Government portal as well as Seek. Organisations are able to list new roles through this portal https://www.volunteering.nsw.gov.au/volunteer-now using your previous log in details.

The NSW Government will use this website to promote volunteering in NSW which will provide benefits for our sector.
